Our beaches are second to none, miles of sandy shores to explore, rock pools to root about in, birdlife and sea life to watch. Leisure activities are well catered for, walking, cycling, golf and diving are most popular, but horse-riding, hacking, beachrides, kite surfing, MBX can all be found. If quieter pursuits are your passion there is a wealth of religious and general historic points of interest.  Northumberland boasts more castles than any other English county and most are open to the public. 

We have a wealth of native and visiting bird and wildlife, and the village of Seahouses 2 miles from Beadnell is the embarkation point for boats leaving for the Farne Islands a major breeding colony of Puffins, Guillimonts, Grey Seals and many other species.
